Mode Conditioning Fiber Optic Patch Cable

Mode conditioning fiber optic patch cable usually terminated 50/125 or 62.5/125 fiber with a small length singlemode fiber at the start of the transmission leg. Such structure is designed for eliminating DMD(differential mode dispersion) effects where Gigabit 1000 BASE-LX routers or switches are being deployed into existing MM system.

The mode conditioning fiber patch cables are used in pairs in simple duplex patch cable structure which enable it easy installation without special hardware or other components. They are fully compliant with IEEE802.3z application standards.
